The right EPC route for your property
We first establish whether the enquiry concerns an existing home or a newly completed dwelling. Existing homes normally follow the domestic EPC survey route, while a new dwelling's certificate is produced from its final as-built SAP assessment.
Clear information before the assessment
Property type, address, floor area, age, heating, glazing, insulation and any available plans or previous certificates help confirm the scope. Where access or further evidence is required, this is explained before the assessment progresses.
Understand the rating and next steps
An EPC records the building's energy rating and includes improvement recommendations. We explain the result in practical terms and can advise on related SAP, U-value or retrofit work where a more detailed assessment is appropriate.
